Happy New Year!

Well hello there 2010...

I can not believe another year has come and gone. 2009 felt like a blink! I am welcoming 2010 with open arms and planning on charging in to the new year at full speed! This past year I have laughed, cried, learned, loved, grown, fallen, gained, lost and so much more! At times I didn't even know how I would make it to 2010, but it is a new year people!! I KNOW that the Lord has BIG plans for me this year and can not wait to go on new adventures in 2010 and really pursue His will for my life.

As I was reflecting back on 2009, and everything I accomplished (and didn't accomplish), I began making a list of resolutions for 2010. I don't know about anyone else, but I get really motivated until about, February, and then just kind of forget about them. Well not this year! I really feel like 2010 is going to be a HUGE year for me and so many others. Its the year of the Tiger people!! The number one thing on my list of resolutions is to take more pictures. Pictures are such precious moments that you can freeze and have forever, and I NEVER take them. I know that I get so annoyed when you are out with friends or family and 20 people all want the same picture with their camera and you have to sit there for 5 minutes while a stranger takes pictures with each persons camera, So I just don't bother. Well not anymore! I am capturing these precious moments with friends and family this year! My Very thoughtful Dad heard me talking about how I don't have a camera any more and tucked one (beautifully wrapped) under our Christmas tree this year for me. I have no excuse now. I have all of the resources I need.

So this is my plan...
Everyday I want to capture a picture with my cute, little, magenta camera and blog about what it means to me. I have so much to be thankful each day, and want to create an online photo journal of 2010. So stay tuned people (aka myself right now :)) because 2010 is going to be great! Cheers to a new year!

  1. That sounds like a great idea. I tried it last year, but only made it to April before things got too hectic. Have you ever heard of www.flickr.com? Might be a great way to store those pics and share!! Welcome to blogging, I SUPER PUFFY HEART your Aunt 'Lois'. Happy New year!

  5. Okay - I'm another new reader thanks to your wonderful (and, may I add - CRAZY) Aunt!? I love her dearly.

I look forward to getting to know you. I met her (in person) this past Spring. Hopefully, she and I will be getting together again this coming year. If so, I'd love to meet you in person.

But, until then. . . .welcome to blogging!
